BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF S DIOGUARDI

I was enrolled in the fine arts program at Florida Gulf Coast University and learned from the renowned artist, Carl Schwartz, who taught me much about proportion, values, and light.  While I was fortunate enough to sell some of my art during that time, it was not enough to sustain a living wage.  I then took the more conventional route, went on to earn an MBA from Saint Leo University and a doctorate degree from the University of Florida.  For nine months of the year, I work as a college professor in criminal justice.  During semester breaks, I joyously pursue my passion for art and creativity.
